Sabbath Rest Essence

May you come into that calm, safe harbor of rest. When Jesus said, "Come...." it was to share a yoke that is "easy" and whose "burden is light"- - not because the loads aren't heavy or that there are no storms but because He is there with you. He said- "I will give you rest." It is no coincidence that the very next verses in Matt 11 that Jesus declares Lordship over the Sabbath. In effect saying He was the Sabbath- the final Rest that is rooted not in a day but in an eternal, ever present person for EVERY day.
